2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you sign in with GitHub via Supabase OAuth, we receive and store:
- Your GitHub username and display name
- Your GitHub email address (if public or granted)
- Your GitHub avatar URL
- An OAuth access token scoped to the permissions you grant (repo, read:user)
We do not store your GitHub password. Tokens are stored encrypted using expo-secure-store on your device (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
2.2 Project & File Data
Your code files and projects are stored locally on your device using expo-file-system. We do not upload your source code to our servers. When you use GitHub features (clone, push, pull), your code is transmitted directly between your device and GitHub's servers.
2.3 Usage Analytics
We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the App:
- App version and platform (iOS/Android/Web)
- Feature interaction counts (e.g. number of files opened, languages used)
- Crash reports and error logs
This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
2.4 Device Information
We may collect non-identifiable device data such as OS version, screen resolution, and app performance metrics to ensure compatibility.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and connect to your GitHub account
- To save your editor settings and preferences across sessions
- To provide customer support when you contact us
- To send important notices about the App (no marketing without consent)
- To improve App performance and fix bugs

4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your files live on your device — we don't have access to them. Account tokens are stored using expo-secure-store. We use HTTPS for all network communications. No payment data is collected or stored by us.
